Before the Wine, There Was the Land
Untamed Landscape
In places where the land remains untamed, its voice is impossible to ignore. Shaped by wind, time, and the extremities, these landscapes are not controlled- they are listened to. At Miguel Torres, each vineyard is a dialogue with nature, where the character of the land is preserved, not imposed upon. Because it is here, in its rawest expression, that the land speaks most clearly.
For Miguel Torres, the man behind the brand, the guanaco is more than a symbol; it's a moment of discovery turned into identity. During a journey through Patagonia, he encountered this native animal standing freely against the vast, untamed landscape. Struck by its quiet strength and natural elegance, he captured the moment in a photograph.
That image stayed with him, eventually becoming an emblem of the brand: a tribute to origin, resilience, and the raw beauty of the land that inspires every bottle.
Organic by Choice
Our wines are born from grapes grown under organic farming principles, where we work in harmony with nature.
We don't use herbicides, pesticides, or synthetic chemical products in the vineyard or during winemaking. We care for soil life, respect natural cycles, and promote biodiversity as the foundation for a more authentic and honest wine.
Each of our organic wines is externally certified, ensuring responsible resource management and a transparent process from vineyard to bottle.
We Believe in
Regenerative Agriculture
We cultivate our vineyards under a model that goes beyond sustainability: we aim to regenerate.
We cultivate our vineyards under a model that goes beyond sustainability: we aim to regenerate.
We base our management on the carbon cycle to restore soil life, prevent erosion, and increase biodiversity. Regeneration means returning natural fertility to the land, nourishing its biological network, increasing organic matter, improving the water cycle, and capturing carbon to help mitigate the impact of climate change.
Our goal is to restore the balance between minerals, microorganisms, and organic matter, strengthening ecosystems capable of producing healthier, more resilient grapes. In this way, we combat both the natural degradation of soil and that caused by human activity, reducing desertification at its source.

Our Origin
Chile is a land of extreme contrasts and untamed beauty. From remote landscapes to valleys vibrant with life, each place has a story to tell. In every valley, in every climate, the land has its own voice, and our wines are its expression.
On this journey, in addition to discovering excellent climatic conditions, the family has embraced innovation in winemaking by incorporating stainless steel tanks and French oak. Today, Miguel Torres Chile has focused its commitment on organic and regenerative viticulture, along with environmental care through innovation.
Backed by a long history in Spain's winemaking culture, Miguel Torres Chile arrived in 1979 in the Curicó Valley in search of a new destination.
These advances have helped us become a more sustainable company, while also enabling the development of numerous sustainability projects. With a presence in more than 100 countries, the family-owned winery Miguel Torres Chile has, over the past 47 years, established itself as one of the leading producers of quality wines, competing in a global market through the identity of its products, respect for the environment, and its social responsibility.

It’s in our DNA, we are B Corp
Familia Torres joins the global B Corp community after meeting the standards required for this certification, with a score of 121.3 points, well above the minimum required score of 80. The winery therefore becomes part of a global movement of more than 10,000 companies driving an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
Since April 2026, B Lab, the organization behind this business movement, has recognized that all Familia Torres wineries - from Spain to Chile - where it produces wines, spirits, oils, and vinegars, meet the high standards required to become a B Corp company, in terms of social and environmental performance, transparency, and legal accountability.
B Corp is not a final destination, but another step in Familia Torres’ roadmap: a family with five generations dedicated to vine growing and the production of wines and spirits, combining inherited tradition with a constant commitment to innovation.
